Hope Ammen
A lot of rich people spend a lot of money on a lot of ugly things. Now if f I was a millionaire, I think I would buy only beautiful things. I am not a millionaire. However, there is a satisfaction in simply finding beautiful things. It's nearly as fun as having them. Just less expensive. So rather than filling my shopping cart with all these beautiful things, I will simply put them in Her Octopus Garden.

Never go to the mall with the intention of studying, NOT the intention of swiping a credit card, yet proceed to go window shopping.

It will cause intense inner turmoil.

Because I have now found, mmm, roughly $130 worth of things I suddenly NEED.

1) I decided to stop and try on these high-heeled oxfords at Nine West and let me just say: they felt like a dream. Perfection. In a shoe. On my foot. I love them. High quality, beautiful boots, plus, they're on sale. Let's just say, they're on hold with my name on them. I just haven't fully convinced myself to go for it yet:

2) Part of the reason why I didn't just swipe the card was becauseee, well, I've really had my eye on these boots too. Tall, classic, leather riding boots (I want them in a gorgeous, red, brandywine color):

Now this is a real dilemma, cause that's TWO pairs of darn GOOD boots, both of which I LOVE, and both of which are on SALE.

Recipe for disaster.

Pro's and con's?

1) The oxfords are unique, fit perfectly, less expensive, and go perfectly with an outfit previously planned
2) Those riding boots are beautiful, classic, and I would wear them with everything for foreverrrr

Why do I put myself through this?
When I should have just been sitting in Barnes & Noble studying?

Because it makes life so much more fun.
Boot drama.
Love it.
