biography ![]() A lot of rich people spend a lot of money on a lot of ugly things. Now if f I was a millionaire, I think I would buy only beautiful things. I am not a millionaire. However, there is a satisfaction in simply finding beautiful things. It's nearly as fun as having them. Just less expensive. So rather than filling my shopping cart with all these beautiful things, I will simply put them in Her Octopus Garden. |

Thursday, October 21, 2010 First of all, I love the idea of being able to wear shorts in the Fall and Winter. Simply because, well, if you know me, I hate wearing pants. Specifically jeans. A dress or skirt is just so much more comfortable! Or a cute pair of leggings and trousers, just like so. Plus, I love giving menswear inspired pieces a more feminine look [which might explain why I borrow guys clothes at college. or why I sometimes shop on the boys side of stores]. There's just something so chill about pulling off a boyish shirt and still making it feminine. It's a hobby of mine. And, well, I just love the textures and colors that combine in this outfit.
