Hope Ammen
A lot of rich people spend a lot of money on a lot of ugly things. Now if f I was a millionaire, I think I would buy only beautiful things. I am not a millionaire. However, there is a satisfaction in simply finding beautiful things. It's nearly as fun as having them. Just less expensive. So rather than filling my shopping cart with all these beautiful things, I will simply put them in Her Octopus Garden.

Confession: In my spare time I look at houses on the market in New Zealand, the South of France, you know. The usual.

And today I found my dream cottage set in a beautiful garden in Christchurch, New Zealand...

Rose gardens, bird houses, butterfly bushes, and an interior decked out with vintage finds and beauty from Anthropologie...

All in my favorite town in New Zealand?
It would be pure bliss.

And, well, my living room described a few posts down would fit in *perfectly*, which makes it completely reasonable.

Call me a dreamer.
